This mini-project started upon the first national lockdown during the first wave of COVID-19. Initially, to keep myself busy, I challenged myself to draw something memorable of that particular day within 90 minutes and in fine-liner pen; something I had never previously done. This soon spiralled into something else (and slightly out of control) and I completed a drawing for the first 100 days of being locked inside.
I find these drawings incredibly enjoyable to complete and have done many more since and worked on commissions too. Some of these have been shown in New York City and some are on the walls of our house.
They are drawn on 10x10” paper and I utilise fine-liner pens ranging from 0.03mm to 0.5mm.
